Almost every day the energy sector seems to clash with varying environmental groups. Lance Brown comes on to help us sort through some of what is going on in the industry.

Executive Director of the Partnership for Affordable Clean Energy (PACE), Lance Brown is fighting for national energy policies that are fair and sensible. In 2009, Brown organized more than twenty Southeastern organizations to form a coalition to change the national dialogue about energy policy. Brown now regularly presents to community and civic organizations, appears as a subject matter expert on energy policy with the media, and has contributed to publications such as the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and the National Journal. He was recently appointed by Alabama Governor Robert Bentley to serve a second term on the Regional Energy Resource Council for the Tennessee Valley Authority.
As part of PACE’s efforts to educate American consumers and policy makers about current energy issues, Brown served as Executive Producer of Unplugged: Reconnecting American Energy Policy with Reality, a 20-minute documentary that examines what America’s future should look like and what it will cost.
A native of Selma, Alabama, he is a Harry S. Truman Scholar who has remained active in Southeastern politics. He received a B.A. from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Master of Public Administration from Auburn University Montgomery.
